About the Artist

Reyna Collura is an illustrator and educator based in Houston, Texas. Her characteristic narrative style sparks viewers' curiosity with immersive compositions and playful color palettes. 

Reyna is also an advocate for arts accessibility and inclusion in education and healthcare. After earning her MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008, she worked for four years as an artist in residence at the University of Florida's Arts in Medicine program, and was the Director of Education at the Galveston Arts Center from 2014-2022. She enjoys collaborating with other artists on community projects and mentoring new teaching artists.

During her free time, Reyna is also very active as a volunteer in the 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA sail training program in Galveston, TX.
